Since Shelter in Place started, I've been having fun occasionally recording little monologues and songs using different "props" from around my apartment. In this one, I get to drink "scotch" (i.e. water) out of my favorite mug. An intense two-hander, Roan @ the Gates explores the tension between choosing "what is right" and the ones you love. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the very talented Jeunée Simon (pictured above), smart and thoughtful playwright Christina Gorman, and expert director M. Graham Smith. Set in the round, the staging is unusual, intimate, and intense. Find out more and purchase tickets at centralworks.org
