Two Exciting New Shows!!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be doing two shows back-to-back this summer that coincidentally both use Shakespeare text in new, exciting, and very different ways.

What You Will

First off, I am delighted to announce that I will be performing in What You Will at the Pear Theatre this summer! The Pear describes this brand-new play as a "hilarious 'Shakespearean travesty' [that] rearranges thousands of snippets from the Bard's actual plays to tell a new story." I will have the pleasure of playing Malvolio, the power-hungry assistant to the King. Directed by William J Brown III and written by Max Gutmann, it's a light-hearted farce with many familiar lines, repurposed in fun and entertaining ways. Come check it out!

And then, for something completely different...

MacBitch

​After participating in readings and workshops  of this show, I am beyond excited to announce that I will be performing in the production itself. Directed by Arial Craft and written by Oren Stevens, this show promises to be thought-provoking and hilarious. As The Breadbox puts it:

"Fluff up your shoulder pads and unsheathe your daggers: MacBitch doth come. From the team behind last season’s The Awakening comes a brand new "Frankenplay" sprung forth from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, sporting hints of Golding’s Lord of the Flies, and with totally sick aesthetics pillaged from your favorite cult films about high school hierarchies. Collaging classics with original text, MacBitch examines the formation of female identity around ambition and a prevailing culture of woman-on-woman violence through kitsch and cootie-catchers."
