Pictured from left to right: Benoît Monin (White King), Chris Steele (Tweedle Dee), María Ascención Leigh (Tweedle Dum), Alan Coyne (Mad Hatter), me (White Queen), Drew Watkins (Red Queen), Regina León (Alice), Britt Lauer (White Rabbit) I have had the immense pleasure to step into the role of the White Queen in We Player's remount of their 2023 production of Adventures with Alice. It is a whimsical, absurd, and joyful romp through a Western section of Golden Gate Park. Come escape into the beautiful, silly, and playful world of Wonderland! The absolutely fabulous Libby Oberlin (who originated the role) will be performing in half of the performances and I will be performing in the other half! 🌟We're an SF Chronicle Datebook Pick!🌟 More info, schedule, and tickets here! Come check out the upcoming staged reading of Diana Oh's My H8 Letter to the G8 American Theatre at Shotgun Players in Berkeley. The cast is full of truly wonderful and talented human beings. Under the direction of May Liang, we act, we sing, and we even dance with the accompaniment of a fantastic live band. It's been an absolute pleasure to work on this staged reading. Diana Oh's script digs into deep, vital topics in the American Theater. They and this wonderful creative team have made me think deeply, reflect deeply, and even laugh deeply. Please come check it out!

Since Shelter in Place kicked off, I've been recording occasional monologues and songs for fun. I've always loved Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT and this monologue is no exception. |
